It
is with great pride and pleasure that we announce this, our
75th anniversary season. The South Bend Symphony Orchestra
was the second symphony orchestra organized in Indiana and
we continue to lead the way in our state.
This
is a doubly enjoyable season for me ~ it marks my 19th year
as music director and conductor.
In
honor of our 75th anniversary we have put together one of
the best seasons ever ~ with Joyce Yang, Spider Saloff, the
Duke Ellington Orchestra, and the incomparable Hilary Hahn,
who will be presiding over our Gala celebration in May.
We
will be celebrating all season long and I sincerely hope you
will join us!
