For 30 years, the South Bend Symphony has introduced thousands of area elementary school students to the world of symphonic music in an exciting and engaging concert designed especially for them! This year, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra is partnering with area schools to create a unique and innovative cross-curricular concert/classroom experience for this year’s Shein Family Young People’s Discovery Concerts: The Orchestra Sings. This is a fun, engaging and highly participatory program designed for your students in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program!
- Each student will receive a FREE 70-page book
- Each music teacher will receive a FREE 120-page teacher guide, recordings, and online resources that can be used to prepare for the concert or any time during the school year!
- We are also including additional FREE resources to connect the concert experience to the Indiana and Michigan State Curriculum Standards math, language arts, science, and social studies.
It is a concert experience that your students will not want to miss!
