The South Bend Symphony Orchestra will pay tribute to the legacy of groundbreaking leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a program featuring works by African-American composers and sensational young violinist, and the Junior Division Winner of the 2015 Sphinx Competition in Detroit, , Hannah White.  The concert will be the culmination of a city-wide day-long celebration and will take place on Monday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra and retiring Music Director Tsung Yeh will celebrate the start of a new year with the Masterworks Series concert on Saturday, February 6 at 8 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The evening will open with Johannes Brahms’ popular Hungarian DanceNo. 6 and continue with his Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by world renowned pianist Haochen Zhang

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra will embrace a second British musical invasion by celebrating the works of Gerald Finzi, William Walton and other noteworthy British composers Sunday, January 10 at 2:30 p.m. at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Have the time of your life at the KeyBank Pops Series opener as the South Bend Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to the music of ABBA Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra will be accompanied by Jeans 'N Classics, the producers of last year's successful “Music of Queen,” for this upbeat, disco-inspired concert. Many of ABBA's most popular works, including Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia, a song which inspired a classic Broadway musical bearing the same name, will be performed.

Music Director Tsung Yeh will kick off his farewell season with the Masterworks Series performance of Symphonie Fantastique on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center.

The concert will open with a piece commissioned by the South Bend Symphony Orchestra and written by former Orchestra tuba player Jerry Lackey. Titled Celebration 150, the piece celebrates the city’s 150th anniversary, which makes this performance an official SB150 event.
